Our ancestors lived with the seasons-- the dance of the sun and the Earth, the cycles of death and rebirth. They lived with the wisdom of slowing down through the winter to rest and replenish. This is the way of the ancient ones, the very forces that created who we are today.​​

I invite you to tend to a relationship with the darkness of the seasons. Within that darkness, there is a jewel. It is the light of your own awareness blossoming from the heart. This is a container for you to anchor your somatic awareness into the resilience, guidance, and beauty that lives within. From the center, all other pieces of us align and heal.

Glow in the Dark is a journey on the Wheel of Time through the Underworld. In the darkness, we recognize, shed, release, and realign with what is true. We prepare ourselves for the next season of blossoming and becoming by going inwards to tend to the very soils of our being.
​
This is a space to tend to living relationships. It is the relationship we have to our Selves, our own process of becoming, the sacred, and the connections among a community who all commit to a shared path. It's the relationship we foster with the Earth, the Sun, the cosmos, and the jewel of knowing that lives within.

Why Somatics?
Every experience you ever had lives in your body. In a society that favors the mind above all else, somatics brings us back into our lived experience. As you learn to understand the language of your somatic being, you open channels for energy & emotions to flow naturally. This can bringing release, healing, centering, and expansion. Through somatic awareness, we open ourselves to the 5 energy channels -- mind, imagination, posture, sensation, and emotions-- to release stuck patterns and anchor new ones. Somatics offers healing from the bottom up (body--> mind) to support an integrated experience.

Wheel of Time Ceremonies
The Wheel of Time is an ancient Celtic tradition that marks 8 milestones in a year -- the Equinoxes, Solstices, and the 4 mid-points. Ceremony honors the immense forces we live among while cutting through the illusion into a higher truth. When we sit in sacred space with intention, we allow ourselves to penetrate to the subconscious layers of our psyche where new beliefs can be instilled. ​​

6 Workshops
We become what we practice. With each workshop, there is a brief check-in with the group to support in creating consistency and accountability. Over the course of 3 months, we explore what it means to relate to our nervous system through a variety of unique transmissions. Workshops are an opportunity to learn, practice, embody, and connect. ​​

Weaving with Cacao
Receive one pound of cacao a month to support the integration of in-person sessions. This cacao is sourced from the Mayan rainforests of MesoAmerica and holds an ancient prayer for the regeneration of life on Earth through the transmission of love. As you learn to sit with cacao in sacred & intentional space, you gain an allyship for life that will time and time again bring you to the wisdom of your heart. This cacao came to me through a deep journey as a co-founder of Cacao Source from 2019-2022.
1:1 Somatic Healing Sessions
As you deepen in the work of learning to speak the language of your own nervous, 1:1 sessions will support you in confronting your blind spots, getting unstuck, and widening your perspective of what's possible. You can choose how many sessions you decide to interlace with the group sessions to deepen your practice. ​

On-Going Somatic Mentorship
When you join Glow in the Dark, you have access to an ongoing online mentorship to ask questions if you get stuck. This means you're never alone. You will always have the group for accountability. Chances are when you ask a question, someone else in the group is going through something very similar. By opening yourself up to be witnessed in your process, and holding space for others' change, we create a collective field of accountability, resilience, and transformation through the journey.

Ceremony 1: November 2nd
Samhain

Enter the dark portal of Samhain. Lay your prayers, set your intentions, prepare to journey deep within. . . . to the Underworld. The Dark. The space where the logical mind settles and the inner senses awaken. In the darkness, other senses sharpen and refine. A compass within guides the way.
Workshop 1: November 5th
Somatic Repatterning
​
Familiarizing yourself with the somatic language of your inner world. This is where we hold stories and beliefs-- not in our heads like we were told-- but in the living imprints of memories in the body. When we widen the scope of our awareness to come in touch with the somatic body, we learn how to work with it. We become malleable guided by a deeper truth.
Workshop 2: November 19th
Relating with Cacao

Throughout this journey, you will have direct support through plant allyship. Cacao called me forward in 2018 while I was living in Guatemala. She invited me to anchor into my power and to speak the truth within my heart. From that moment, she invited me to step forward into a magical unfolding-- discovering the ancient forests of cacao and the tenders of her lineage. I co-founded Cacao Source, a ceremonial cacao social enterprise that weaves together ancestral lands, Mayan elders, women's collectives, farmers, and so much more, to bring forth the true meaning of cacao. This workshop will synthesize many years of learning and study to support you in opening your own 1:1 connection with cacao and the truth within your heart.

Every moment sits on the precipice of who we have been and who we are becoming. This workshop diversifies the tools in your somatic skillset to relate to your own patterns and emotions with greater capacity. When you are able to learn and flow with the natural patterns of release in the body, you can set your intention and grow into any direction.
Workshop 4: December 17
Sensorium: Seeing in the Dark
​
Awaken more of your inner senses. This is an opportunity to lean more-so into the subtle body. A group sensorium experience will open your inner senses preparing you for the gateway into the Winter Solstice.
Ceremony 2: December 21st
Winter Solstice
​
Come home to the primordial darkness. This is a place to receive messages that can only come from silence and surrender. When we sit in this portal with intention, you may be surprised which jewels come through.
Workshop 5: January 7
The Hero's Journey
​
The story of cacao and the story of humanity both reflect an underlying principle in our human experience: The Arc of the Hero's Journey. This workshop weaves together the art of story-telling with the practices of somatic embodiment.
Workshop 6: January 21st
Owning Desire
​
When we truly slow down to listen to the deepest places inside of our Selves, you may be surprised at what you hear. The last workshop is dedicated to navigating deeper listening in the last whispers of the winter.
Ceremony 3: February 1st
Imbolc

Imbolc signifies the coming of Spring. It is a moment of renewal. In this final ceremony and closing of our time together, we will honor all of the jewels of wisdom that came through, and amplify the intentions for this next season of growth.
